Ambler Borough recycling is picked up at curbside every Wednesday through a contract with J.P. Mascaro. You may use a container of your choice, labeled with 2 recycling stickers which are available at the Borough Hall.
If you wish to recycle a material that is not included in regular recycling collection, you can search for a drop-off.
Ambler contracts to have an unlimited amount of leaves picked up throughout the year. All yard waste must be separated from trash and placed in paper yard waste bags or clean, unlined trash containers. No plastic bags will be picked up during these collections. Place leaves and yard waste out the night before collection.
Leaves and yard waste will be collected on November 1, 8, and 15, 2011.
During the rest of the year, check the Ambler Events and Notices page, HomeTownNews or newspaper for specific dates for leaf pick up. Store uncollected materials on your property until a scheduled pick up. You may also compost your yard waste.
Christmas trees will be picked up during regularly scheduled curbside trash pickup. Please have your tree out at the curb early in the morning on the day of pickup.
